Fix “No Internet Access” or “Limited Access” Yellow Triangle Error in Windows 7
Seeing the yellow triangle warning on your network icon in Windows 7 with the message “No Internet Access”? This issue is common and can be caused by many reasons such as IP conflicts, router issues, or incorrect network settings.
Follow these step-by-step solutions to fix it.
Common Causes:

IP address conflict

Wrong DNS settings

Router/modem problem

Disabled network adapter

Malware or firewall issues
Solution 1: Restart Your Modem & Router

Power off your modem and router.

Wait for 1-2 minutes.

Turn on the modem first, wait for 30 seconds, then turn on the router.

Restart your PC.
Check if the internet access is restored.
Solution 2: Renew IP Address

Press Windows + R, type
cmd
, and press Enter. -
Type the following commands one by one:
ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew

Press Enter after each command.
This refreshes your IP configuration.
Solution 3: Reset TCP/IP Stack

Solution 5: Disable and Re-enable Network Adapter

Press Windows + R, type
ncpa.cpl
, and press Enter. -
Right-click your network adapter > choose Disable

Wait 10 seconds, then right-click and choose Enable
Solution 6: Check Firewall and Antivirus
