HP Laptop Audio Not Working: Sound Solutions
No sound from your HP laptop? Whether it’s total silence, crackling output, or missing speakers, this guide walks you through every fix—from quick volume checks to deep driver resets.
๐ Step 1: Check Volume & Output Settings
- Click the ๐ speaker icon in the taskbar
- Make sure volume is turned up and not muted
- Right-click → Open Sound Settings → Check Output Device
- Ensure the correct speaker or headphone is selected
